New pt, referred by Mid Atlantic Retina, through Wills Eye, for cataract right eye. Office sent several texts the day before and day of appointment for reminders. Pleasant office staff, actually taken several minutes early. Eye tests performed by Nadia, knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. Dr. Levanthal was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in discussion. I have several other eye problems besides cataract that we discussed. He did not push surgery at all, didn't "grade" the cataract at 3+, stated surgery was dependent on my symptoms rather than the grade. Fully explained procedure and asked several times if I had any more questions. He had his scheduler call the next day to set up procedure. I have full trust in Dr leventhal and his staff.

Lovely staff, exceptional ophthalmologist who operates differently from many practitioners. He takes all the time you need, and explains everything in detail so you leave with all your concerns addressed. A refreshing change in these challenging times being an MD, I can’t echo his praises enough.
